Sell order placed
03 Mar 2023, 09:40

Hi

I placed a sell stop order on Ctrader for a sell on AUDNZD to trigger at 1.07783.

I use trading view as charting software to determine price at which the order is set.

During the night the sell was triggered according to Ctrader, reach 1.07783.

However on trading view the lowest price came down was. 1.08.

That means that Ctrder either differs from Trading View by more than 20pips or theres something seriously wrong with their price levels.

If I however compare the current price levels of trading view and ctrader its spot on the same.

How can the position trigger prematurely by 20 pips? Is this the spread after hours?

Please help me understand before I close down the ctrader account.

Thanks

JP

Hi JP,

Price feeds are provided by brokers, not by cTrader or TradingView. If the brokers you use are different, then this is expected. If it is the same broker, address it with them
