Unable to Upload CBOT Files - Arg_NotSupportedException Error

Dear Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to report an issue I've been encountering while attempting to upload CBOT files to the cTrader platform.

I have made numerous attempts to upload various CBOT files, including those obtained from the platform's website, but each time I encounter the same error: "Arg_NotSupportedException." Despite following the upload process as outlined in the platform's documentation, I have been unable to successfully upload any CBOT files.

My system configuration:

  • Device: MacBook Pro M2
  • Operating System: [sonoma 14.2.1 macOS version]

I have ensured that the CBOT files I attempted to upload are in the correct format and adhere to any platform-specific guidelines. Additionally, I have tried uploading simpler CBOT files to test the process, but the error persists consistently.

This issue is hindering my ability to utilize the full functionality of the cTrader platform and is impacting my trading activities. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter as soon as possible.

Please let me know if there are any additional steps I can take to troubleshoot this issue or if you require further information from my end to assist with the resolution.

I have the same issue. I cannot install any .algo files on my iMac. I tested the same .algo file on Windows 10 cTrader app and it works. However, I use iMac for all of my trading work. Here is the link to the algo: https://ctrader.com/algos/indicators/show/2969

Hi there,

This indicator has been built with .Net framework 4.0. cTrader for Mac supports only algos that have been built using .Net 6.0. You need to upgrade this indicator in order to use in cTrader for Mac.
