Hi there,

It seems that you have made a deposit to avoid a drawdown but the calculation of ROI does not take into consideration deposits and withdrawals. So if somebody has invested $100 at the beginning of your strategy, he would now have $74. The fact that none of your trades closed in loss is irrelevant.

Hi, thank you for your response, Still the calculations are wrong. even without or with deposits, both All time ROI and monthly ROI are wrong.

how the fact they closed in profit its not relevant ? then how do calculations work, isn't because of closed positions in loss or profit?

please refer to the correct calculations: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/hvofficiel1/hv-safe/10465625

Hi,

ROI is calculated based on equity and not based on closed trades. Without knowing the exact details of how your ROI is calculated, it is obvious from the equity curve that there are positions open which cause drawdown and they affect the ROI as well.

Hi, Thank you for your response, we have doubled checked our equity curve and positions, we have no open positions or loss trades.

based on our research https://help.ctrader.com/ctrader-copy/roi-calculation/ and myfxbook https://www.myfxbook.com/members/hvofficiel1/hv-safe/10465625

we are positive that the calculations are wrong from ctrader copy. may we ask for support to take a deeper look into our account and try to fix the issue?

Regards,

Hi there,

We have checked the ROI calculations several times and they are correct. Almost always the issue is that strategy providers do not understand how ROI is calculated. I cannot launch investigations every time somebody does not understand the calculation. I will proceed with investigating further only if you can provide solid evidence that the ROI is wrong e.g. a spreadsheet with the correct calculation that shows that the results are different. If you can provide such a spreadsheet, please send it to me at community@spotware.com

Best regards,

Panagiotis
