Trade in the copy account closed with loss even though the trade in the provider account closed in profit

Hi there,

The issue is obvious. Different entry and exit prices. This is expected in cTrader Copy.

How can this be expected behaviour? What is the point of copy trading if the copiers get a different entry and exit price? If that's the case then the copy trading using this tool is random and unpredictable and relying on good luck, completely opposite of what it should be.

If the software can't guarantee to the copier that their account will copy the strategy provider's entry and exit price for each trade then this software is misleading and dangerous and a lot of unsuspecting people who are copying but don't know about this will lose a lot of money.

Hi there,

This is how markets work. Your followers copy your signal and execute it on their own account and their own broker. Different prices and slippage can occur. There is no way any software can guarantee any price. There is nothing misleading here as it is clearly explained in the EULA you agreed on before you started using the service.
