Does every strategy have SL ?

Hi,

Does every strategy have SL, and if not, how can we know wich strategy put SL on every trade?

Also, can we adapt the lot size according to the maximum acceptable loss, based on the SL?

Hi TaoCTID,

We cannot know what each strategy provider does. However, if you need to protect your account, you can use your own equity based stop loss.

Thanks for your answer, so can't we make it so that when a SL is provided, cTrader calculates the position size so that when the SL is triggered the loss is a predefined amount?

Equity based stop loss is triggered after the following account's equity falls below a predefined level.
