When I get dividends my copiers lose money?
29 Nov 2021, 07:02

Hello,

As a strategy provider in settings the commissions from my copiers go to another trading account.

But when I get my dividends (us tech 100, us 500,..), I get them on the same trading account. I hope this is not a problem.

I think this is a problem, because whenever I have a position open and it is not currently in my favor, If I add some money to my trading account, my copiers automatically lose some money.

I know this because I tried.

When the money gets deposited to the same account and I have an open position currently not making profit - the 'Total amount of capital copying live' reduces.

Is there any way I can chose another trading account for my dividends too. The performance Fee is going to another trading account - but dividends get to the same trading account I am trading with.

My broker is topfx

Please be kind and advise me what can I do

Thank you

Hi DemoTrader01,

Every transaction taking place in your your account will cause position readjustment to maintain the equity to equity ratio. There is no automatic way to receive dividends in another account at the moment.
