Profitable transactions turned into negative on my account

Profitable transactions turned into negative on my account

Hello,

I am copying a following strategy: https://ct-sc.icmarkets.com/copy/strategy/36309 using live account ID: 2073245

Strategy name:

This morning I have noticed some negative profit transactions in my copy history like DID55883813 or DID55890119 (screenshot below), however, I can't see any negative profit transactions on the strategy account. Also looking at the strategy history, transactions within the same time range are pretty profitable e.g. DID55883791 and DID55890096. Is that a copy algorithm issue or I am not understanding something here?

Hi pawlaktom+icmarket,

There are many reasons that can cause discrepancies between strategy and follower trading results. See some below

  1. The entry and exit prices of your positions differ to those of the Strategy Provider.
  2. The size of your positions differ to those of the Strategy Provider.
  3. The commissions you pay to your broker differ to those of the Strategy Provider.

In your case, it is clear that entry and exit prices are different.
