Why cAlgo periodically re-loads 1h bars from the server?
03 Feb 2016, 13:19

I try to optimize a strategy, I use 1h bars from the server (open prices). cAlgo runs 3-4 times, then it stops working in optimization mode. It needs to be restarted and then it starts downloading the same 1h bars from the server (open prices) AGAIN. It's very frustrating to waste so much time. Can this bug be fixed?

RE: RE:

Any solution?

Currently, I test 3-4 times and then have to wait for 6-7 minutes to reload the same data again from the server. Test 3-4 times, and then wait again. So, 90% of time is waiting and only 10% is actual testing.  I tried both my demo and live account, the result is the same.

Dear ironmine,

As you can see in the Journal you are getting disconnected because your connection is broken or it's very slow. We kindly ask you to check your internet connection with your ISP and check your computer for viruses or even other programs that use a large amount of your Internet connection.

Does anybody else have the same problem as me?

I don't have any viruses in my computer, there are no programs using Internet and my bandwidth is 2 Mbit/sec.

I think the problem is in the way cAlgo uses memory or cache... Maybe it expires or overfills?
