Optimization slowing down

Hi,

What could be the problem here and what to do.

Remaining time always slow down when I restart my PC or ctrader. First 13 hours then ctrader crashed. Then it went to 1 day before crashing again, then 3 days and now 5 days with the same parameters to optimize. What could be wrong? I don't know if similar issue has been reported before.

 

Will a faster CPU speed up the optimization?

Hi,

If optimization crashes cTrader there could several causes for it, there might be something wrong with your cBot code which is the most probable cause.

And yes, a faster CPU with more cores can increase optimization speed.

Please submit a troubleshoot report and use this thread link on the report text box.

Also if you post the cBot code that is causing the crash that will be very helpful.
