Hello MaRCHeW,

Did you remove another version of Visual Studio previously?

You need to remove one registry key:

Unfortunately, my RegEdit didn't find this registry key: 2c72cc50-6c69-4b16-b1f4-ab470673f284,1.4

Check my screenshots.

Any new hint?

Ok, I found it and removed it but option 'Edit in Visual Studio' still doesn't work :/

Any suggestions?

Probably previous version of Visual Studio was not removed correctly. Unfortunately we cannot help with that.

We can recommend you to install our visual studio extension directly from Visual Studio:

  • Open Visual Studio
  • Go to Tools, Extensions and Updates
  • Find "cBots and Custom Indicators" in the "Online" section
  • Install it
  • Launch cAlgo and perform "Edit in Visual Studio" command

RE: RE: Edit in VS doesn't work

Does the extension work with any of the free versions of VS? I downloaded VS C# Express (forget which year - 2010, maybe) and the extension installer said 'no compatible versions' or some such.

I'd really like this to work, but I'm not going to pay MS for the full VS.

Express edition of VS doesn't allow extensions. Therefore we cannot integrate cAlgo with VS Express.
