How can I change some options in Visual Studio?

I am using Visual Studio 2019 to create bots and indicators and I want to change some of the preset VS options like i.e. VS should !!!NOT!!! show the Error window after a build with errors or warnings but instead show the Output Windows. The check box to control this is under Tools->Options->Projects and Solutions->General->"Always Show Error List if Build finishes with Errors". However, it makes no difference if this box is checked or not on cTrader Solutions/Projects. I assume this is because of the "cBots and Custom Indicators" Extension for VS. HOW CAN I CHANGE THIS AND OTHER OPTIONS ANYWAY?
