XAUUSD - PipSize
11 Jul 2020, 11:50

Hi,

is the Pip-Size of XAUUSD wrong? It might be a definition, but then the swap sizes don't match.
It should be Pip Position = 1

I stumbled over it because my stop loss and take profit were calculated wrong. (didn't match my internal calcs)
I find it a little awkward anyway to have the order placement use pips and the order modify the absolute targets.

Another thing makes me curious. When I look at the symbol info it lists trade statistics.
How can Total Pips and Average Pips be negative while overall Net Profit was positive?

Hi GridSurfer,

The PipSize and swaps are determined by the broker so it would be better to talk to them.

Regarding

How can Total Pips and Average Pips be negative while overall Net Profit was positive?

This can happen when the winning positions are of a larger size than the losing ones.
