Deployment and application do not have matching security zones
31 Mar 2020, 10:27

Hi, when trying to install cTrader Desktop on a Windows Server, I get the following error (see below):

I already went through the forums, and see it is possibly a ClickOnce issue. Already tried the following:

1) There is a problem with installation when some Internet Explorer security settings enabled.

Go to Server Manager -> Local Server -> Set IE Enhanced Security Configuration = Off

2)

To clear your ClickOnce cache, please perform the following steps:

  1. Hold down the Win key and press R. The Run box should appear.

  2. Into the Open field, enter %LOCALAPPDATA%\Apps for Windows 8.1, Windows 7, and Windows Vista or %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Apps for Windows XP

  3. Then click OK.

  4. This will open Windows Explorer.

  5. Delete the folder names 2.0

  6. Reinstall the application.
