Parameter Line Output - Reference Color as Variable

Hi,

Is it possible to obtain the color value for a parameter output. I have a number of lines drawn in the indicator area, i have text drawn as well. 

I would like the user to be able to set the color for the line as normal in the indicator preferences however, then extract that color selection and use it for the text color as well - without having the user to manually set the color for each text element separately.

I can't figure out how to obtain the outputs line color, can anyone assist ?
