SendEmail with 2-step authentication ON

Dear cTrader,

I have gmail account with 2 step authentication. I want to use this email to send notifications in my robot. How can I config cTrader to send email?

Go to Settings > Email and set up the necessary information. See below

You mean my robot can login and send email even my email account has 2 step authentication is ON now?

But I try as your advice, it can't send email with error Authentication Required. Do you have any other suggestion for this case?

Hi nguyenbaocuong,

It is not possible to use a two step authentication email account to send notifications using cTrader. You could create a separate email address for this purpose.
