Hi lw3010996,

VS 2019 is not officially supported yet. You might want to try this workaround proposed in the past for unsupported versions.

Best Regards,

Panagiotis

That's good to know! I was literally thinking of downloading the free version just last week.

Any ideas on when VS 2019 will be officially supported?

Thank you.

For you guys who is planing to develop on Visual Studio 2019. I tried the workaround the first day Visual Studio 2019 came out but no success. Looks like we have to wait for cTrader's official support on Visual Studio 2019.

Update from Mads Kristensen

The good news is that now we finally have the 16.0 version [meta package Microsoft.VisualStudio.SDK] ready. You should use it if the lowest version of Visual Studio if your extension supports 16.0. and you can read more about extension versioning here.

Now everything works with supplied VSExtension.vsix.

Change "[15.0,16.0)" to "[15.0,17.0)" in the following files:

VSExtension.vsix
manifest.json
extension.vsixmanifest
catalog.json

And re-assemble in zip container with .vsix extension.
