calgo consumes nearly all the computer's ram when backtesting, keeps that memory reserved after the testing has finished and bogs down the computer until calgo is closed. whats wrong with software?

I see the same behavior...

memory usage runs up during backtest... say from 200k at initial cAlgo launch up to 700k when running a 1 day test...

and when the test is over... memory usage stays the same at 700k and never goes back down until I shut down/relaunch cAlgo

it consumes nearly 3 million k where I have to keep restarting the program every few minutes

Final fix will be released in the next version (most probably in 2 weeks).
