Mysterious Error

Thanks for posting in our forum. Does this happen all the time? Can you try deteing the file, restart cTrader and try again?

Thank you for your interest.

Yes, it happens all the time. I couldn't build a single bot or indicator yet because of this. I tried the followings:

- Deleting and recreating the file.

-Deleting cTrader and reinstalling.

-Building the file on a different computer.

Hi ruylopez,

When you say the file, do you mean the cBot file or the dll? Does this happen on other computers as well? Does it happen with all cBots or only one? When you reinstalled cTrader, did you try Clean Installation?

I mean the cBot file. Yes, it does happen on other computer ass well.

How about other cBots? Does it happen when you build other cBots as well on all computers?

Yes, unfortunately. Last thing I am going to try is removing my virus program. If it doesn't work too I don't have any more ideas in mind. Is it possible to build algo file in a program other than cTrader ?

Hi ruylopez,

You can build a cBot using Visual Studio however the fact that you say that this happens on ALL computers for ALL cBots doesn't make much sense. Do you say that if you build e.g. Sample RSI cBot on any computer, you get that error on all computers you try? If the problem was so widespread then somebody else would have noticed too. Which broker's cTrader do you use?

--I mean I have two computers and yes I get the error on both.

Hi ruylopez,

We managed to reproduce the message and it only happens when access is denied to the file. Can you please check the permissions of the specific file and folder?

I checked but still same.. How can I build an algo file on visual studio? I tried but it gives me .sln or .cs files.
