Correct way to exit automated Hedged Grid setup?

Hi - could anyone advise the best strategy for exiting an automated hedged grid setup? i.e. if I want to close the grid down, do I simply close all positions and take what ever loss/profit is involved. Or do I stop adding to the grid and let all open positions unwind?
