cTrader 3.0 - Performance issue.
05 Mar 2018, 22:09

Hi,

There is a problem with cTrader 3.0 performance in comparison to cTrader 2.01 (Pepperstone).

Take a look at the screenshot.

You need to put some effort to improve it.

Hi,

Are you aware there is a performance issue in cTrader 3.0? The market is closed down and I do nothing on the cTrader platforms but please take into account how much cTrader 3.0 eat CPU.

Hi all,

Thanks for reporting this, Could you please provide us with the below information?

  • What is the revision of Spotware cTrader 3.0 you are using? (press Ctrl+Shift+~R)
  • Do you use any cBots or indicators in the moment of high CPU consumption?
  • What charts are using? Are you using any Chart objects like Deal Maps?

If you could share a couple of screenshots of Spotware cTrader, it would be useful as well.

Best Regards,

Panagiotis

RE:

Hi Panagiotis.

1. Revision:

2. cTrader 2.01 - Pepperstone - I use my own indicators.

3. cTrader 3.0 - I don't use any indicators.

4. Current CPU eating:

5. My system information:

6. Additional information - I'm not doing something special with cTrader 3.0. I've only launched it and opened 4 empty charts.

Hi MaRCHeW,

When you get 0% for v2.01, is the application minimized or maximized? If it is minimized could you please maximize and make the comparison again?

Best Regards,

Panagiotis

RE:

Hi Panagiotis,

I was lucky and shot this screenshot when CPU% was 0% but avarage for cTrader 2.01 is 1% or 2% .

I've launched cTrader 2.01 and 3.0 on separate pulpits in Windows 10 and they are maximized all time.

Hi Spotware,

Guys, Thiss CPU and GPU eating in unacceptable. The same setting and the same workspaces and such huge differences in cTrader 2.01 and cTrader 3.0?

Are you digging the bitcoins or something?

Can I expect to fix this problem?

Regards

MaRCHeW
