Minute / Hour data vs. Tick
23 Feb 2017, 17:04

Can someone please explain to me if the minute or hourly data comes in OHLC format or it just has the Open value (as mentioned in brackets when you select the data source in the backtesting settings)?

Because in backtests reuslts there are trades in the wick of the candles, so it looks to me it has High, Low and Close as well.

And if so, how does minute data work? What values are used? Min data vs Tick data are generate very different backtesting results.

Thank you!
