cAlgo Auto Reconnection?
04 Jan 2017, 19:09

Hi All,

Seem to be having some issues where it will disconnect and require me to do a facebook login again to establish another connection. Is there configuration options to allow it to automatically reconnect or any API or C# code to do this?

Cheers

I work in IT so understand that there will be days like that. My concern is if I don't manually click the button it does not reconnect. I need a way of automating this, I've gota system that seems to be working in cAlgo I want to start a live account shortly and this is an issue.......How can one make money partying in Bali with a decent trading algo when you have to manually connect if it breaks. I can't even find a way to send an alert when it's disconnected.......

Anyone know of a way of sending an alert?

Hi Petra,

I have an application in development that will send you either a voice alert, pop-up message, email or SMS when the broker feed stops or there is a disconnection, it will not alert if the platform or VPS crashes. If you can wait it will be available soon.

You can find out more about the application here

Well, Bali is nice "petra41" and also lake Atitlan Guatemala, Lagos Portugal, Goa India, Limmasol Cyprus or any other exotic comfortable and relaxing spot on this earth. An alert when the cBot crashes or the platform goes down would be very valuable for travelers. Should actually be hard coded in the platform itself. Hopefully, a solution will come from Spotware soon on this subject.

Until then if you are interested in being informed with sound, email, and screen information, the Alerts 1.0 cBot might fit the bill. It will give alerts when the setup of orders, positions, lots, risk, positions p&l and margin are triggered.
