Retrieve or store optimisation results

Hi all,

I left my computer running overnight for an optimisation run (from tick data, so was taking a while, hence overnight). Anywho, at some point in the night my computer restarted itself (i have set it in power options not to shut down when on power or with lid down, still trying to work that one out), and as expected all the passes are gone (insert sad face). 

I was wondering whether there was a data file anywhere which stores these (either in temp or somewhere), and if not, is it possible to output optimisation pass parameters to a data file (excel as an example), either on completion or (more ideally) as they are generated?

I have tried searching the forums for another question similar to this without luck (could be just the search terms I have used), any help would be much appreciated.
