Saving Historical Data
23 Aug 2016, 22:54

Please enlighten me on how to ensure data continuity in indicator calculations i.e. If a bot is restarted, how can it continue calculation from last obtained data e.g. If it shut down on a Thursday and is restarted the following Monday, how does it get data from the time it shut down (Thursday) rather than continuing from Monday when it is restarted?

We're switching over from the Metatrader 5 platform and since most of our indicators are coded in C++, we need to ensure indicator data integrity, please advise, thanks.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for taking the time to also send us this query to the email. As it was told there, you can use MarketSeries to access the data that you might be missing. To see the code snippets, visit this thread /forum/calgo-reference-samples/2227
