mirror trade was way off.

mirror trade was way off.

I have a signal provider which executed the following trades

http://roboforex.ctrader.com/c/XdVpn

The good tradte opened at 12:30:01.661

The mirror account did not execute the same trades:

http://icmarkets.ctrader.com/c/QdVpn

The bad trade opened at 12:30:08.997

 

Can you please provide an explaination for the difference?

Hi lec0456,

There are many reasons that might cause a difference in the execution result of a mirror strategy. Some of them could be the following

1) Executed VWAP. Since the provider's order has been executed first, he/she might got a better price than you.

2) Different spreads between brokers. Difference in spreads will cause a different executed price for each of you.

but did you see the difference? we are not talking about a few pips.  The difference was around 20-25 pips?????
