I understand that there is not currently any easy way to access market data.

Robots that I have been developing in MT4 use multiple timeframes for trend identification and to identify trade setups. 

Do we have any idea about the timing for this functionality to be added to cAlgo. I really like the platform and would like to move over to cTrader but need to wait until this functionality is available.

I havn't tested it but These guys say they have an imediate  solution.  http://scyware.com/

Although I would like to know the ETA on that functionality from cTrader as well.
