issue with multiple algos running at once

If I have a few algorithms I'm running at the same time, would one algo interfere with the other say if one algo thats on a longer time frame like on the hourly timeframe that opens a long trade but I'm also running an algo that is looking for scalping opportunities on the 5 minute chart and this algo opens a short position but it closes any long positions before it enters the short position.

Is there anyway to fix this where positions in one algo wont interfere with positions in another algo?
