Welcome to 2013,can't wait for the adventure.

As promised,we have released the third version of JEDISCALPER today.It comes with a second droid called R2D2,this robot will help protect your account during runtime.

Please make sure you have both robots running on the recommended currency pairs.

back test is really bad for eurjpy, maxdrop down more than 90%

Here is the pics, the test period is 03/12/12 to 03/01/2013, m1, eurjpy, it seems it is long way to fo for jedi

The JEDISCALPER strategy heavily relies on a low market spread(less than 0.5pips).

Which makes our broker's platform ideal for the robot.Also for testing,you have to set your spread to less than 0.5pips.

I experienced the same . I use FXPro Calgo.

This robot does not return the same pattern for different initial volume with RiskPct = 0. is this right? Anyway I am doing more tests

Please show where to set the spread for this robot?

Yes,the initial volume should be set to your brokers minimum volume or just leave it at defaut(10000).

The most important settings are the Leverage(100 - 500:1) and the RiskPct(0 - 100) which handles the trade Volumes,please consult the manual for more info.

The robot can only trade on spreads less than 0.5,you have to set a fixed or random spread less than 0.5 for your backtests.

R2D2 is a backup robot to manage positions.

It has to be run on same currency pair as JEDISCALPER.

Do you run the jedi scalper on mutliple currencies or only 1. Because By running on multpe currency (gbpjpy.eurusd-eurjpy), the position will not be equally weighted if open at the same time.

And also I think someting is wrong with my robot. I use it on demo account but it opens multiple positions on the same position (ie, I become over-over exposed)

Please see below, last 3 trades: 3 consecutives buy on GBPJPY of 60K (60K represents already 30% of leverage).

Hi,

The key is the commission.

It is 65 per million trade. if trade EURUSD 1 m it takes 65 EUR on a trade and 130 for a position ( position = open + close). That means if the rate EURUSD is 1.3000 it takes 85 udd per 1m trade and 170 usd for a position ( not overnight).

So for the test with an USD account the proper setting is: max spread = 0.5 and commissions is 80 or 90 per million. If I am right the result for 80/1m is below

We are working with 65/million offered by Fxpro;this is offset by the lower spreads offered compared to others.

Also,we are currently working on optimizing the strategy to improve profitability which will mean fewer trades.

Moreover,additional currency pairs may be traded in the future.
