Consistently profitable cbot - possible?

I’ve been playing with a few bots lately, mainly scalpers and smart grid bots, and I find these bot work amazing in the right market conditions and fail horribly in the wrong conditions. Is there a cbot that can be tuned to give a consistent profit without massive draw down? Or to not place trades in the wrong market conditions?

i find the smart grid to be the best option so far but you can lose quicker than you can win (such is trading). Can anyone share or point me in the right direction?
