he server will not allow connections and the button to run the backtest is greyed out.

At somepoint on Saturday I was able to connect to the server and then cAlgo allowed me to backtest.  However, backteating cahched data should be permitted off-line. Why does cAlgo need to be connected just to backtest and can this be fixed?
