Backtesting with .csv data - timezone error?
12 Nov 2016, 02:45

I'm getting this error when trying to run a backtest with data from a .csv:

10/01/2005 00:00:00.000 | CSV time zone UTC+2 (DST UTC+3)
12/11/2016 00:41:20.204 | Backtesting stopped: Error #494092 occurred

The backtest works fine with another data source that isn't DST corrected, so I'm thinking it's something to do with that?

Can someone from Spotware let me know if this is a bug or do I need to remove the DST correction from my data?

And If the data does need to be DST neutral, is there some way for cAlgo to apply this itself during a backtest?

Thanks,

Alex

If someone from Spotware could tell me what that error code means I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Alex
