Ctrader overall is brilliant, especially for new traders looking to get into trading I recommend anyone to use this platform.

But my biggest recommendation is to please add/allow users to change the timeframes whilst actively using the Market Replay feature :)

My experience has been bad so far. It would be easier if I placed orders via fax today instead of ctrader.

My favorite trading platform

I am a freelance who have worked on cTrader for years. I still impress the visual and features so far. But I hope you have internal plan for 
1. how to keep up with the changing environment e.g. dot net 8.x and so on, windows version mac os version etc. Since .net6 migrate caused a little disaster. But not to be afraid you can learn from your mistakes .

2. Custom indicator, cBot and plug-in on other platforms e.g. ios androids mac . I wish one day I can serve my clients running their cBot on tablet. 
 

3. Despite UI and UX are good but they show the aging. Please look around you will see other platforms. You can have inspiration from others. MS Windows and Mac are inspired by Xerox.

4. I just have an idea. Yes, you have Suggestion to voice what features user expect. I have seen some features have been there for years without progress or plan, some finally including in product. I know you have internal plan as well. If it is possible you open your clients (either brokers or retail end-user) to fund on specific features. Money will show you how serious we want and also show your commitment. You may set target budget if success, let do it.

Mac App

It would be great if we would have some visibility on Mac OS app updates, as a lot of people are asking but it always same reply, no ETA yet and no roadmap, feels like Mac App is not a priority at all, for now its seems like better use Web version , or if Mac is on M chip to use iPad version of the app, there is not much alternatives for the Mac, MT5 runs in wine emulator which is even worse, only using MT5 iPad version of app on Mac improves that but it still not a native experience.

 

A lot of development are focused to build algorithms support and indicators, but a lot of people also trade manually.

In general would be great to have a visibility for a future  of Mac OS version of the app, or it will eventually end up in a graveyard

Advanced stop loss

Hi
Most of the time when I set the advanced stop loss feature to automatically move my stop loss to break even when the set pip target has been reached, it does not work. It simply just removes my stop loss altogether from the trade.
Am I missing something or is there a technical issue here?

Hi there,

Make sure the new stop loss does not fall within the spread. If it does, the stop loss cannot be placed.

A lot of problems lately

I notice a lot of delays in order execution (orders or placed, but seems the server do not respond), same for SL and TP movement since about 2 weeks.

At this moment indicators sometimes do not load, placing and alert fails, etc…

Restarting Ctrader helps sometime but not always.

Is there some server problems?

New update made my algo stop working- backtest not working either

As I stated in the subject. The new update is not working. Backtest is not getting any trade, and it's not actually loading in some instances. I already deleted and reinstalled and same issues. Can I roll it back? Or can you guys fix this please?

Also memory manager bot no longer working. Cannot back test anything without the RAM being totally used up. Have deleted the memory manager bot and reinstalled, compiled and it runs but it does nothing to manager RAM use.

Please create a new thread and explain to us in detail how we can reproduce your issue.

Hello, platform is amazing by it self, but for some reason indicators sometimes disappear and only zero line is laying flat. 

Also some indicators not working on some pairs, for example custom indicator indicator i have downloaded from this website works well on xau/usd but doesnt show on US30.

 

In the second picture i put RSI, MACD and HULL MA, nothing shows on the screen, what i mean by this is that even built in indicators do not  work

 

Please help, thank you!
