Hi,
Here's a simple plugin to display the Spread below the quick trade buttons at the top of your charts (because for some reason the desktop app doesn't have an option to display it).

P.S. I know it's not dead centre with the buttons (annoying), but according to the programming coordinates provided by the API, that's TOP, CENTRE aligned.
The author decided to hide the source code.

Great try! Why not give your users the freedom to place the indicator anywhere on their chart by allowing them to enter their own coordinates, allow them to select any font size and color?

I lost the code I'm afraid. It's a simple task if you want something different. I just wanted the spread displayed there, as it is in the mobile app (and on all other trading platforms). It does the job… Now, if only we could have a bar countdown on the mobile app!
