Description
The linear regression channel indicator is a technical analysis tool that plots a three-line channel on a price chart, based on the linear regression of the price movement. The channel consists of a middle line, which represents the trend line of the price, and two parallel lines, which are drawn at a certain standard deviation above and below the middle line. The linear regression channel indicator can help traders identify the direction, strength and reversal points of a trend.
